The Sri Sathya Sai International Organisation United Kingdom (SSSIO UK) welcomes you.
SSSIO UK is a non-denominational, voluntary organisation. It is part of the Sri Sathya Sai International Organisation (SSSIO) founded by Sri Sathya Sai Baba. SSSIO is based in 126 countries. The Organisation carries forth the mission started by Sri Sathya Sai Baba who, by His selfless love, universal spiritual teachings, and exemplary life dedicated to social service, touched the hearts of millions of people all over the world.
SSSIO UK promotes and practices harmony of religions and unity of faiths. Its members come from all faiths and share a common purpose: to reach the ultimate goal of realisation of their innate divinity by practising love, self-reflection, and selfless service. Guided by the universal values of Truth, Right Conduct, Peace, Love, and Non-Violence, it brings people together through selfless service, spiritual growth, community outreach, and education. Unconditional love is the undercurrent in all other values.
Open to all faiths and backgrounds, the organisation promotes the principle of “Love All Serve All” and “Help Ever Hurt Never” to create a positive change in individuals and the society.
SSSIO UK participates in the inspiring worldwide online programs; and, supports healthcare, environmental, and humanitarian relief work around the world.
Individuals observe in daily living these Ten Guiding Principles given by Sri Sathya Sai Baba:
- Love and serve your country. Do not be critical of other countries.
- Honour all religions, for each is a pathway to God.
- Love all people without distinction, and know that humanity is a single community.
- Keep the home and surroundings clean.
- Help people to become self-reliant. Provide food and shelter, love and care for the sick and the aged.
- Be examples of honesty. Do not participate in any corruption, such as bribery.
- Do not develop jealousy, hatred, or envy on any account.
- Develop self-reliance, become your own servant before proceeding to serve others.
- Adore God, abhor sin.
- Observe your country's laws and be an exemplary citizen.
